Question: Christmas star
I wanted to know why my Christmas Star has bracts (light yellow ones) stained with brown and then almost all the leaves have fallen. Yet I followed all the procedures appropriate to this plant.
Answer: Christmas star
in general the loss of foliage and damaged bracts are an indication of excessive watering, try to control the soil of the plant with your fingers, if it is very humid it is good to avoid watering it until it has dried well. If the plant continues to consume a drastic pruning, waiting for dry soil and watering again, to be provided only when the substratum is dry, with fertilizer for flowering plants every 12-15 days.
